I had a good night last night.
Very good.
The simple pleasures of good company in convivial surrounds should never be underestimated - or the friends that enable you and help you to experience them.
To put this into context? I simply cannot remember the last time I had, a) a genuine heart-felt social invite outside meeting the odd individual for lunch or going to Nem as and when I could afford to do so, b) the ability to accept such, c) the pleasure of such a relaxed and open environment, d) feeling and hearing such pleasure being taken in having my company.. and e)? lol.. so many compliments!
As I said, simple pleasures 
Bloody hell... I could almost have been living a 'normal' life! 
And to one who has so often felt isolated from the outside world in recent times - and those of humanity within it - it's hard to put into words exactly what those simple things can and do mean.
I couldn't have a better ending to an difficult week and a hard month.
Many thanks to cane4gain and deepdesires for their hospitality and to DK for his on-going friendship and the (rather frantic!) lift over.
And to those I renewed acquaintances with, as well as those I made afresh, thank-you for the pleasure of your company. I hope we cross paths again soon.

Thank-you x Sorry I didn't get the chance to really catch up. And I hope I didn't appear too insensitive - but you did throw me a bit to be honest (altho in a good way!) and after the week I've had it was just a bit overwhelming. I could strongly feel a ruined mascara moment coming on!
Oh and YOU TOO!
After so many months of 'fen' this, and 'fen' that.. lol

It was fantastic to meet you and you and your boots did look stunning.
