gas mask - where to get one, and what do i ask for? (24)

I recommend the s10 like many others here. Excellent fit, 4 sizes (1 largest, 4 smallest). All rubber/plastic construction - machine washable! See my pix for an example.

thanks again. Just to add/ask how much poppers would be recommended to put in the cannister, how long could i wear the mask inhaling poppers safely?

Depends on your tolerance to poppers really. I've managed it for ages up to 20 minutes, maybe more, though I do need a breath of fresh air every so often. Be careful of over-saturating the filter. I usually use half a cootton wool ball and put the poppers on that, then put that in the filter.

If you take too much poppers in one go, you will quickly become dehydrated, feel faint, pour with sweat. If you feel like this, get out of the mask straight away and relax before you collapse. Safety first.

If madam gives you small amounts at regular intervals, you could go even longer. I think the longest I've been in a gas mask with poppers is an hour.

Oh, you might want to black out the eyes for added sensory deprivation, and ear plugs too. Mind-blowing.

If I remember correctly, an S10 filter will not fit on an S6 mask because the S6 has a boss in the centre of the inlet valve. The threads are standard so pipes will attach.

This sounds interesting; do you tip the stuff into the filter?

Place a cotton wool ball, covered in the stuff up to the filter?

Or a cotton wool ball, covered in the stuff behind the filter but inside the mask?

Please do tell more,

Yes you can try that too.

Soak the HALF a cotton wool ball in poppers, put this in the screw bit where it screws onto the mask, but MAKE SURE you don't cover more than half the aperture or you will just breath pure poppers, not a good idea. You will dehydrate very quickly. Make sure you get fresh air in too. I speak from experience.
