I can imagine it's not easy to find women to do it. The kind of women who might do it, tend to only do things they enjoy, and I know I'm not alone when I say it's rather boring.
This would be one of those situations where I would do it if I like the person, not just because they like it.
I also have never had the experience of somone not being able to breathe under me. I suppose that's possible, but it doesn't need to be that way. I think facesitting and breathplay are seperate, even if facesitting is the means of breathplay. Freudian slip: When you say one thing but mean your mother.

It's possible to facesit someone without smothering them and in my experience subs tend to panic if they cant breathe, which I feel is a reasonable reaction.

facesitting is a wonderful honour for a sub. & therefore it is down to the sub/slave to be responsible for breathing, as your Superior/Domme should be able to sit for as long as they wish. you can hold your breath for a reasonable period, & when trying to breathe moving your head slightly & also moving your mouth & jaw can help you grasp an extra bit of air. the benefit of the restricted breathing is knowing you are breathing through the wonderful scent of your Superior.
