No brakes .. (2)

Got up after a crap night of tossing and turning and being awake from 5am.

Had row with 14 year old darling before she left for school and me for Uni.

Gets halfway there and i got NO BRAKES!!!!!!!!!!! *mild panic as back end of big lorry looms closer*

Finds Garage and a Man who can.

Goes to get a cup of tea and ..... *NO PURSE!!*

Almost faints ..

Man who can said 'you need new discs too, tell me how you been stopping?'

NO PURSE!!!

Manic panic phone call to Master.

im probably going to get extra stripes for :-

a) for not double checking that i had my purse with me,

b) why hadnt i got the brakes FIXED, before they got to this point?,

c) for panicking and hissing down the phone and

d) for costing Master money!

Oh and yesterday i had a minor arguement with a Range Rover which is now sporting my paint work along its bumper.

Maybe i should have stayed in bed.

UK, 3 yrs i wouldnt worry too much.... my brakes ere in a awfull condition.. scared me when i looked at the state of my pads..especially the speeds i drive at.... and im a mechanic lol..... as for the things other than your brakes... good luck! lol

i had no brake pads and the disc's had deep grooves in em lol and id just been doing almost a ton up the dual carriageway!
