I have to say I used to reply to all but now I don't. My profile is clear in what I want, it also says quite clearly I won't reply if my requirements have been ignored.
Today a memo, aged 24, bi, not local, not single - Why should I reply when he has clearly ignored my profile.
Also, the cut & paste messages, same message, sent to lots of people and then they forget and send it to me again. Do they deserve a reply? I think not.

Precisely! Well said, Supernanny!

I'd say its more to do with how confident any person (man or women) is with there email along with the amount of time they give them, I reply almost straight away but thats due to my outlook being in the background and being on line at least a few minutes a day. |

ahhh Yes, the hidden Network comes to Light at last.
I keep inventing New lines, because I'm NOT honest.

It's easier than sending the same memo everywhere.
Although I've sort of done that on occassion as well.
Now You got me making confessions here.

as far as i am concerned, I have seen that on sites like these whenever you send an email to a woman in her twenties, you wont most probably get a reply back. send the same kind of email to a woman over thirty or forty and you will most probabyl get a reply back. I was wondering if there was an age issue? or if it was due to some other factors, say, younger woman often inundated with emails.??

I would expect a lot of guys send more emails to younger ladies than older ones. A lot of guys seem to want a newbie sub, (not applying this to Dommes of course.) and assume because a woman is young, she is a newbie, even if the profile says otherwise.
As a younger sub, I've also discovered people don't always attach much respect to an email, and make a lot of assumptions just going by a girl's age. I end up replying more to a lot of older guys and making some great new friends, but not really finding a partner. lol
Though if all your emails are honest and friendly, they are probably just inundated! -I put up an ad when I was 18 and got about 400 replies in two weeks... since then, the number of replies recieved has gone gradually down, so you could be onto something...

I do understand what you are saying. and I think that is one of the main reasons why younger women dont bother to write back. but I think that is what leads to those same women making generalisations about all the men out there.
many men dnt read the profiles. they simply send in a memo to the younger women without realizing whether they are looking for an older man or not.
it often becomes heard to reply to all emails but i think the ones that truly look honest ones should be replied back. usually you can just read it and see the tone.
