I'm not political but this is my attempt to get my feelings across on the matter..
The law is unessential, it's another bar in our unessential prison, taken away our moment, our individuality, our freedom to be who we are. An image is an image, it has never handed someone a knife and told them to kill, and it has never asking you to rape someone. It is an image, vanilla people look at porn to satisfy a sexual need, get them horny to rub one off too, so in the porn they see a lady dressed as a school girl being 'forced' to give a guy a blow job as punishment for being a naughty girl. Well known fact, quite a few people this 'schoolgirl' fantasy so does that mean people are more likely to go out and find an actual school girl that's been naughty to give them head? Nope you'd most likely find that not what's running through there head right after watching the porno flick, because that would be sexual assault/rape and paedophilia.
So if a guy into BDSM looks at a few images or a movie of girl tied up being taken with a strap on, does this mean that the person straight after rubbing out off or just viewing it will find themselves going out afterward to grab a cute girl force her to do these things? No it's not what we think about, not anyone that has rational thinking. As it was with the vanilla porn, if the stars of the image or movie are consenting there should be no problem right?
Now we have people trying to pass a law that bans 'violent pornography' Taking away the freedom to view such images, I believe it will lead to worse problems, how do you think some people will act when they cannot satisfy the need, most of us will use our imagation's but some of us that won't be enough. And they will go out and create it their selves.
Man is animal, and the more we pass laws to stop our freedom to be who we are the more you cage us the more it get out of hand, what happens when its past, someone gets the bright idea 'that gay porn will turn our child gay' so they make a law for it, the balls rolling and it gets worse and worse..Soon enough if you aren't a straight laced, vanilla monogamous clone, your not natural.
Don't take away our individuality or our freedom; we need to fight hard to be who we want to be...

And will they try to ban 'violent films' or 'violent video games' ? Probably not, because there is money in them there products... Simply a knee jerk reaction by some politicians who feel that they are so morally superior that they can impose this, and the tabloids will back them up. Bastards. |
