Well, Ill try and join in every little helps so here is my contribution. I'm not the most easy at explaining what I mean so bear with me.
For a start I myself do not participate in many of the activities mentioned or take pictures of them but that does not mean I consider this law fair. BDSM is an exchange between consenting adults it is not abuse. Abuse is not the loving and nurturing environment that I consider BDSM to be.
I know we want someone accountable if something goes wrong, as in the tragic death of Jane Longhurst, but we are not accountable. What we do in a safe sane environment cannot even be compared to this tragic murder. As adults we have the right to sexual freedom. We should be able to live without fear of being branded a sex offender. When really it is an insult to who we are to be threatened with the sex offenders register, how does activity between CONSENTING adults even compare to some of the people on there? How can they justify tarring us with the same brush.
In a dangerous person's hand, almost anything can be a weapon- a kitchen knife, bleach, petrol etc. It is not violent porn that causes people to do these things it's the fact they are unbalanced. Innocent people will get caught up on the law when real criminals could be concentrated on, that I find sad.
Let us live our lives and prevent real crimes from happening.
