I have to hold my hand up and say I don't understand most of what is going on. Most of it is portrayed in the written word something that as a dyslexic I find hard to wade through.
Chatting to others only gives me their take on what is going on, what its all about.
All I do know is that I am one of the most ordinary people I know.
I am a forty something woman with three grown up children and two grandchildren.
I have had two loves in my life, the first was my first boyfriend, and the father of my children our relationship lasted over 20 years. The other is my now partner.
They are the only people I have ever had any sexual relations with, I have not even snogged another man.
This is hard for me to write because I am not even sure what this new legislation is all about.
I believe that every person has the right to their dreams, their fantasies.
I believe that consenting adults have the right to choose what sort of sexual activities they wish to enjoy.
I believe that consenting adults have the right to give their body to another in the way they wish to do so.
I believe that consenting adults should not be told what is right or wrong for them to enjoy within the privacy of their own bedrooms
I do not think that it is right for a government to point a finger at any section of society and say that they are wrong for enjoying something that is not hurting any other person.
I enjoy having my bum spanked. I enjoy having my back flogged. I enjoy being tied to a bed.
Some years ago I wrote the following poems I think they are appropriate today.
BLINKERED
They don't understand they don't want to
They don't see it as it is
They see only what they want to
They don't see the love ~~~
They don't give the space to explain it
They don't try to see our point of view
They judge without knowledge
They condemn both me and You

CONFORM TO THE NORM?
One day you may walk into a room
And people say to you
What you like is not what is right
What are you going to do

Do you say ok I stop then
And then just walk away
Or do you say stop, hold on now
I live my life my way

Would you be able to argue
To tell them who you are
To claim the right to be yourself
To stand up for what you are
~~~
That is what i do here today
i am a submissive
i do not conform to the norm
i live my life my way

Please see that just because someone is different does not mean they are wrong or evil.
