My home is my castle, my property, what I choose to do there or indeed within any four private walls is my business. If I choose to take photographs as souvenirs, as memories then I shall do so. A photograph or a video captures simply a few moments in time, not the whole story. What you may see are marks left by various implements, by teeth or nails, what you dont see is the aftercare, the tenderness, the hugs and cuddles. What you also cannot see is the huge amount of trust and respect which is shared by the people involved.

I discovered this lifestyle somewhat late in life, has it affected me in other ways? No. I am still the same wife, mother, daughter, sister as I was before. Abuse and violence still horrify me. The fact that I take great delight in seeing marks I have left on another consenting person doesnt make me bad, strange, violent, dangerous or a threat to anyone. I have never had and still have no interest in pornography, if I happen upon images I would rather not see on the internet it is easy to close the page.

By all means protect children from unsuitable images which is the responsibilty of us all, however let those of us who consent to BDSM and who choose to keep a record live our lives without interruption and without the threat of arrest and sentence.
