As a magician / mentalist (mind reader) I use NLP to great effect. There are lots of pdf's to be had on the subject. This is mind control at a sub-conscious level. This is acheived using voice tone, gestures, verbal mechanisms and a whole load of other psychological bits and pieces. I use NLP to make a spectator 'freely' think of a playing card (the one I want him to think of, that is LOL), I also use NLP persuasion techniques (like a double bind and assumption techniques) to 'encourage' clients to hire me. Try typing 'NLP Kenrick Cleveland' into Google. He's one of my favourite authors on NLP - Good Luck Knowing others is intelligence, Knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength, Mastering yourself is true power -Lao-Tzu

In the 70s two men, Richard Bandler and John Grinder, decided to work out how the best therapists got their results. In essence they distilled the various hypnotic and conselling skills of some very talented people and created Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Essentially it's used to change people's perceptions and behaviour - and is consequently sold to businesses, and why I assume you're interested in it. I've found it does have some very good uses, but other parts less so. In recent years its aquired a fairly creepy cult-like following. A more interesting question would be, how could you use NLP in a bondage situation?

It's a sick strange kink, and one that'll make me look at door-to-door salesmen in a whole new light.

NLP = New Long Player - This replaces D.V.D.s, C.D.s, cassettes and of course records. O.K. so the B.B.C. are hosting a spying convention for the C.I.A. and the old K.G.B., M.I.5. and M.I.6. are cordially invited as are the S.S.S., and because the I.R.A. have suddenly come in from the cold they have to bring the icecream and drinks (probably Guiness). N.A.T.O. chiefs (there are more of them than indians BTW) will be acting as bar staff and waiters. The P.M. will be making some speeches, so too will Joe Bloggs from next door - who will probably make more sense. A.C.P.O. will be the door security. So there will be no excuses for not having a good time, but if it does go pear shaped, everyone will be F.U.B.A.R.ed.
