At 6ft tall I dont think that was the problem!!! More the wobbly handling on my part i would say ... but thanks for the suggestion. Perhaps a lighter bike as it was damned difficult to get out from under! Nx

I only read this thread quickly (95 replies - wow!) but I didn't see too many Londoners admitting to being bikers. Is living in the Smoke as much risk taking as anyone's prepared to take?! For myself I've been riding 15 years in all weathers, and I'm currently on a ZX10-R until my girlfriend manages to convince me to extend my life expectancy by getting something a bit more reasonable. I mean where in SE England can you find a road long enough to use 175bhp anyway? I'd definitely be up for a ride-out (whatever my mount happens to be at the time) if anyone fancies meeting one weekend somewhere south of Birmingham.
