I had always wanted to come to Hades but geography and finances have always conspired against me.
Saturday found me unexpectedly in London and after a very kind offer from idoasuplz and littleboots I found myself in sarf london getting ready for my first ever Hades.
Boots picked me up in Wimbledon and we drove to the house. Because I hadnt planned on going clubbing I didnt have a proper outfit with me and was very nervous about if I'd look ok. They helped squeeze and squish me into a corset and it looked fab, but I didnt have anything to wear on the bottom so I reverted to my original plan of underwear, heels, a lace overshirt and a big smile!
Was incredibly nervous as we set out, we arrived at the Hades carpark and I put on my shoes. I took about 7 steps then took em off as it would have taken me an hour to get in the club! The shoes are soooooooooo beautiful- even heterosexual men want to worship em!- but by god they're uncomfy.
Soon as we walk in I see friendly faces and am enveloped in hugs and kisses. The gorgeous maisyjayne LEPT on me and smooched me before I even got my ticket! Sat and talked to a few people then Littleboots gave me a tour of the club, with lots of people pouncing on me for cuddles along the way.
The club itself, is, well, wow. I never saw the previous venues but this one I thought was excellent. Spacious, the smoking never bothered me so Im guessing it had decent ventilation. The rooms set out so well, places to sit and chill and chat, places to play, places to dance, places to just be. The equipment all looked fab.
I think my favourite room was the d/s room. There is no music in it, sparse equipment- the most divine looking humiliation chair, a cage, few bits and bobs- its meant to be a really quiet space for d/s play. Some people use it as a chillout room and thats cool too. The thing that bothered me was people talking really loudly and larking about with the equipment and being disrespectful of the intended peacefulness of the room.
I continued wandering about the club, tom_tom was my fellow mingler for some points. We both giggled when asked if he was my sub.
I still felt a little out of place, my head was full or the weeks events, but everyone I met was beyond welcoming to me. There were a few people I particularly hoped to meet and one was Miss_Lead. Ya know how sometimes photos can be deceptive? Hers are, shes even more beautiful in the flesh, and when she pulled me towards her for a lingering kiss who am I to refuse...swoon. (even though she has given me her cold via Sev it was worth it!)

When I came down to London for KF the thing I most craved to try was needles, but southark council kinda put the kibosh on all that kind of thing so it never got to happen. I knew there were people at hades who I trusted enough to ask, and MistressEve did me the honour of piercing my virgin skin.
Nervous isnt the word, I felt a tingle of anticipation, a little bit of fear, but mostly just inquisitiveness. Sometimes you fantasise about something and the reality falls woefully short. In my head I had wondered what needles would feel like. Id spoken to friends who had tried them. But noone elses experience will be the same as yours, so I really didnt know.
Eve cleaned the gynae table, asked me some medical history, explained some things, was immensely professional and careful. I laid face down on the table, and felt the cool liquid wipe my skin. Take a deep breath she said as the first needle entered. Not in the least bit painful, amazing sensation as it slid through my flesh before coming out the other side. More needles on both sides. I think I had 16, and only 3 were a bit sore, and it really was only a tiny bit sore. Gorgeous black and red ribbons laced across.

I didnt want to leave.
The club is a real testament to Danny and Maria and everyone involved in the running of it. It has a wonderful atmosphere, unlike any other club I've been to. I hope to return again, its well worth the long journey.
I met so many lovely people, some for the first time, some for a repeat. Everyone was so nice I actually found it quite overwhelming, I really needed friends this weekend, and I had them in abundance. I even felt vaguely pretty by the end of the night *blush*.
After eventually extricating myself from goodbye hugs and kisses ( you know I didnt want to go!) I pleaded with Littleboots to take me somewhere for some grub and we went to a kebab shop in the middle of nowhere. I dont know if the guy was tired, drunk, or it was the fact I was scantily clad in his shop at 4.30 in the morning but I got extra salad and he let me help myself to sauce-woohooo- Im so easily pleased!!
Sleep found me about 6 am, and I had gorgeous dreams.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in giving me a really special weekend, one that I needed so badly.
Home now, happily so.
