In honour of International Talk Like A Pirate Day, I thought I'd do a quick review of the adult film "Pirates" (You can see a trailer here).

There are several versions of the film, the one I got is the 3 disc Collector's Edition. The 3 discs are as follows - the film, an extras disc, a disc with HD version of the film (plays on a Windows PC, needs a DVD-ROM drive and a 2.4GHz processor).

The film is surprisingly high quality. It's got a fairly decent script, reasonably convincing acting and even some passable CGI. It's also get sex. Lots of sex. Lots of hard, nasty sex.

Some of the highlights from a BDSM perspective are - costumes (pirates, wenches, etc), rope bondage, a kidnap scene, choking, gags, swords and knives, candles. There's also a bit of random flogging on the extras disc, which is nice.

The HD version of the film is the same as the SD version, but higher res (720p if you want to get technical). Looks slightly better, most noticeable if you press pause (for whatever reason ).

In summary: if you have a pirate fetish, buy this DVD. If you don't have a pirate fetish, buy this DVD and you soon will have. A word of warning though - don't buy the 'R' rated version, it's apparently had all the good bits cut out.

Overall score: 9/10

Great write-up
This film became a bit legendary during my time at Uni. Regular viewing after a few jars and a takeaway!
It also spurred my crush on Jesse Jane.

UK(DD), 2 yrs I got my copy of the Pirates DVD today - finally. I first tried the link mentioned on IC (for www.yourchoice.co.uk) but they could not get it, so I finally got a copy from:

Who were able to get a copy of the proper '18' version.
I am impressed, the production is excellent and the general standard of acting and scripting better than a lot of non-porn files (for example, anything by Elisabeth Hurley springs to mind). So far I have just seen the movie, and it has a good selection of sex scenes. Could do with some flogging mind you, but maybe the extras will have that
Overall better than your average porn flick and worth the money.

UK, 2 yrs this a good porn movie well put together, I have the HD version and it is amazing I would give it a 9/10
mind u the CGI is a bit well sh!t... but none the less I got it for the sex and its is good for that.
