Its been a whirlwind couple of weeks. I've worked hard and played hard. Tonight it's both Hades and Nemesis, I'm torn across the country about where I'd like to be, special parties at both, and I'd like to go to both too, but I'm just worn out. Enough. I fell asleep on the sofa last night, crawled to bed and slept nine hours solid. I don't do that. Seven hours and I'm up and bouncing, raring to go. I still feel wobbly legged and could happily go back to bed… Sounds like there's a poem in that.
Tonight I shall recoup… I think… Quiet night in. DVDs, a nice salad (yawn) (no, no salads can be nice, really, they can). Although Nemesis would be nicer, loads of mates going, and at Hades there's a special show and looks like fun… ho hum, hum ho. I vote for fetish clubs during the day. Wouldn't be the same some how though would it? They need to be in the dark of the night. Secret and tucked away, crept to in black clothing along shadowed badly lit streets. It's the only way.
This month I need to do sensible things, my car exhaust has started to blow and a shock absorbed on my passenger side is “misting” oh yes, apparently that's not good and needs tending before my next MOT. My cavern of a living room desperately needs a fresh coat of paint. The ceiling must be 12 foot high, it's a trial of ladder stomping to paint it, but its really starting to annoy me now. It's fabulous having large high ceiling-ed rooms until you need to decorate them. Great for whips though.
Boots, I need new boots too. I'm torn as ever between pointy high heeled things and sensible able to walk and shop in boots. I NEED pointy high heeled things, I think. Maybe I can find pointy not so high heeled and yet still very sexy things, that I can wear all day and walk in too. That'd be a novelty. Why do boot designers think pointy toes go with high heeled stilts and lower heeled boots need to look like something your grandmother would wear?
My lovely gay friend is back from his overseas residence for a month now too, hurrah, cant wait to see him again. And of course the beautiful fuck_thing (rolls eyes at online name) is over next weekend so you see I'm right. This weekend I really do need to recoup. However I will be seeing evil twin and gang tomorrow, hurrah! I know, I know, I'm going all the way up north but not to Nemesis, what's that about? Well other than a Monday morning business meeting in Leeds, I'm a sulky like to be alone creature too that's what, and today I just want to chill and potter and do absolutely fuck all. So there. I think…. Well shop too, a woman has to shop you know.
