....at the end of summer , the promises of summer dreams of growth and abundant life slowly fade and destroy themselves.
Nature slowly rots and returns to the earth so it can be reborn again in spring
We are part of nature thou much removed from its rhythums by the shiny plastic, bar coded wrapper of modern society . Gamma irridated, vacuum packed, anethseptically sealed from its teeming squirming self recycling system . We are dissconnected in our push button world from the change of the pattern seasons which affects us all .
Nature dies to be reborn , its a smelly process, but tis the way of it ! Our dreams of summer promise fade with the sunshine and we all loose faith in the things that didnt quite work out how we'ed hoped they would earier in the year.Smell the rot and decay in their air as the fungi feed on dying promises and nature recycles the energy for another year Gather the fruits of the years sunshine and bottle them with the jam to last the dark hearted nites of winter ahead. .
End of summer ..... blackberry jam anyone ?
