This is a very indeterminate review.
We went on Thursday (alternate Thursdays are now billed as BDSM). I think we went on the right night
... I think I went with the right knight ...
The Office isn't in the centre of Bristol, and is in a slightly shabby office block in Fishponds (close to M32). The host was very welcoming, and they have a lot of space there. Lots of space to sit (though not communal space - more tables for four); a quiet room (good idea); plenty of changing space. An equipped dungeon (good if you like swinging, lol!)not so good for tieing/beating.
We decided it could be quite a good place/space, but that the owners hadn't quite got what bdsmers want ... the dungeon just didn't work.
The decor was a funny mix; part fairy lights, part club, part kitsch ... but they are trying. Comfortable chairs, but they don't match the tables (ow! how bad is that!!).
Met a nice tv called Katie who offered good advice on the corset. Hi, if you're reading this!
There were only about 10 people there at the most. OK, Thursday night in Fishponds ...
As a newbie to clubs it was definitely worth the experience!
They have a lot of space there, and it could turn out to be a good venue.

Just to add, the stocks there look big & substantial, but are completely hopeless & most people could escape from them easily. Most of the gear seems to be for show only, which is a shame.
pls x You may be only one person in the world, but you may be the world to one person

We did a 'fetish night' there a while back. Bit of a demo thing. It's a different box of badgers from the usual in fet club terms, and I know what you mean about the dungeon bit. Can't say I know the organisers well, Sonia and Si? It was quite a while ago. But what little I saw I kind of liked. It was all pleasantly unpretentious, thankfully!
Drop us a line if you are going again - might be amused to go back and see what's happening, or not! |
