How about a workshop on making fetish clothing/outfits on a budget? Many people going along to clubs for the first time seem to ask for isdeas of what to wear. I think a nice mix of some of the standard workshops such as rope, for those who are new or haven't had chance to get to any/many workshops. And some unusual workshops for those who have done the more common workshops and everyone else. I missed the punch play demo at Kinkfest which I'd like to see. But with the talk of resistance play and wrestling, how about trying to combine all that kind of play together in either one big workshop or as a group, one after the other. And how about learning areas? A lot of demos you get to see things in action, but don't actually get to try it yourself. So maybe a place or two for people to actually try some techniques, although it will be limited to what can be done. But maybe instead of a whip demo, how about giving people a chance to learn to crack them themselves and can learn while doing (Although there is ShereKhan's Whip gathering, but maybe it could be moved to Kinklusive for November?) I agree with this, having a chance to try new things should be a part of it.
I'd be happy to help out on a whip workshop where people get chance to learn to crack whips and maybe learn about basic maintenance, but for something like that, realistically, you're going to need a lot of space including high ceilings.

Yeah, that's the awkward part. I know they had a whip workshop/demo last year so there is room to crack a whip if they use the same venue. Although that space might be needed for other things. The mens workshop at KF2 was one 'Unarmed BDSM' John and I did various things including different types of punchplay, pressure points, pinching, spanking, bondage without restraints/mental bondage and some other stuff. It's possible to group a lot of it together in one workshop, but no way you can cover it all in one go. We made it interactive which was vaguely successful. |
