If it's on your profile that you're attached, and you get memos with general wanky-man crap, why should one respond? Do you spend time on the phone with those telemarketeers or answer every letter from everyone offering you a credit card/double glazing? If it's not relevant to you then you have no duty to answer.

As part of the process of writing my current book, I would like to talk to someone who fabricates an identity that isn't theirs, and to get their perception of the experience.
I recently talked to a Master with a houseful of slaves, who probably fits into this category. Will he ever admit it isn't real? Unlikely.Very. My problem (apart from the BO...)is that nobody wants to admit that their profile is a fantasy, especially not to themselves. Here we get into the existential thing about "what reality is anyway". But I'd rather not......... This "Second Life" fantasy It is probably the single biggest lifestyle out there= Husband/wife doesn't know that you're doing it, but when they've popped out, on you go and you become Shazza the slave girl or her male counterpart.

No, your not the only one by a long chalk, I consider that while you will find many decent and considerate IC members on here, there are still significant numbers of people out there who are little short being moronic and lacking in any of the common courtesy's. But don't dispare just ignore them, and save your valuable time for those right minded ones. | |

I think that in a crazy fucked-up way they are being honest with themselves-but not with you. All you are is a masturbatory prop. Last time I looked CollarMe profiles seem about 60% bogus, scammers or just plain deranged. I'm not convinced its any better here. Provided you approach people with scepticism and not cynicism you'll be ok. There are some genuine people out there-but its important to remember that fantasists don't tell you they're lying. | |
