What is it about the people that we come into contact with on IC ? We are a couple who are very comfortable with our lives together, and if we meet new people face to face at parties etc we generally get on well, and often become quite good friends as a result. So it would seem that we DO NOT have two heads or some outrageous personality disorder
Why is it then that we never seem to get beyond first memo with anyone? Oh sure they say you two are just what we are looking for, but when we naturally write back to find out more about them, or dare to request a photo because they did not deem it polite to stick one on their profile in the first place, we never hear another word. This has happened so many times recently. All we want is a chance to meet face to face and we never rush them, surely they can't all just be making it up can they? We enjoy making new friends, and those who know us say they find us good company. We are not over pushy but we do like to suggest getting together in real time, it seems so natural to us?
Is it us or them? Or have we just been unfortunate in the past 8 months to have met lots of fall on TIME wasters?
