Who am I ? - I am an innovative,imaginative, articulate male in a professional occupation, offering 50 years of maturity, living in the Chester area, who wishes to explore further aspects of bdsm, ideally with a submissive or dominant female.

My journey into bdsm turned into realtime play some 15 years ago. Very early on I realised a number of important principles :-

There are varying and widely differing approaches to how a Dom or sub can portray himself. As Dom I like to talk to my sub, to lull her into a maybe false sense of security, a little humour also being added to the mix - although it does not detract from the severity or focus of the play - I believe that it adds to the anticipation and can enter the mind of the sub who is never sure of what fate awaits her. As sub, my needs mirror my Dom principles -

All play is consensual, I believe that Dom or Domme can only do what their sub is prepared to allow - all limits must be agreed prior to play - although it is only to be expected that limits may be stretched - anything outside of this is plain assault.

Sex and bdsm need not necessarily be linked - although it could be included as a part of the play, or as part of the "recovery process" following play.

I wish to enjoy my play - but I can only do this if my sub or Domme is enjoying the play also - therfore I will do all in my ability to ensure that the enjoyment ensues for all !

I have always been a fan of ropework, maybe originating from those boyhood games of cowboys and indians ! I have learnt much over the years and have been fortunate to have been able to share my skills by teaching others on occasion.

I like to play with the mind, or to be played with - sensory deprivation is a favourite, followed by sensation play whilst restrained and unknowing. Even the most mundane of household objects has a function in play.

I must admit that following a "accident of play" some years ago I have become ever more submissive initially dabbling (?)with a friendly Domme, and would like to try more if the opportunity arose - the dreaded (by some)word - "switch" springs to mind. And my subbing has given me some new ideas !

I do not seek one off play, prefering regular play - this type of relationship takes time to develop and as with all things - you only get out of the relationship what you are prepared to put into it.
