FOR THOSE SPECIAL PEOPLE ................. You know who you are!
When I first joined IC in the spring of 2005 my mental health was declining and I was about to made a personal decision that would affect the rest of my life.
Within a short space of time I had received words of support and encouragement from people that I did not know – such is the community of IC as a few months past some of these people became friends and pillars of support you encouraged and supported me in those first public steps to finding an inner peace and happiness.
Many of those people now have deleted profiles or still have profiles and have not visited IC for several years! Others now rarely post reflecting how all of our lives change. Within a few short months my service in the NHS which began on the 2nd January 1976 will come to an end and I will not renew my registration with my regulatory body and so will end my professional career.
That personal decision made in 2005 has progressed and with that progression will commence the final stage of my life bringing with it what I hope will be happiness, enjoyment and fulfilment.
The title of this blog as some will recognise is the title of the Take That album released when they decided to call things a day. So as a thank you to those people from way back when I say I will Never Forget for you are the Ultimate Collection of those whom I still regard as friends. You will never be forgotten – THANK YOU.
