The Lesser Spotted Shimmer (Puella Micans) is a large bird of prey. It is about 163cm in height and has a wingspan of 150cm. It is the last known example of the species which preys on "homo asinus" and supplements its diet with cake.
This is a large-sized specimen. Its head and wing coverts are milky white and contrast with the generally black plumage with a coruscating lustre.
The species generally inhabits dark, enclosed spaces and is found chiefly in the East Midlands.
It can become wary in unfamiliar surroundings, but it's in natural habitat it is more docile it can be approached quite closely for such a large raptor.
And if you haven't guessed by now. I'm quite a complex character. *laughs*
I run the Loughborough Munch and the Leicester munch as well as attending the Nottingham Munch.
