Having now been in the most fantastic vanilla relationship with my wonderful Dom, @em84jay for a while, I think it's time to update the profile somewhat.

I have been drawn towards submission and BDSM as long as I can remember. I can remember being 8, and Ken tying Barbie up naked as punishment for something during one of my games. My fascination has grown since then, especially in the last five years or so, when I have been able to put a name to what I was thinking about.

My fascination has grown even more in the last five months, when I have been tied up and flogged on a regular basis. He is very into flogging, and this passion has (literally) transferred on to me - I was unsure the first time, and now can't get enough of it! He has been collecting a rather nice array of floggers quietly to himself - we are currently up to 25 with the intention of purchasing a few more in the very near future! He has been introducing me to the concept that flogging isn't always about pain - he is interested in the sensation aspect of it as much as anything. I am very happy with my kink life, and the mixture of vanilla and D/s that we have in our relationship - not scene only, but not 24/7 either. A happy medium, methinks.

In more mundane terms, I love reading and will pretty much read anything at all. I studied Classics at uni, and have a rather unhealthy obsession with the Elgin Marbles. The first time I saw them I cried, while the person I was there with pretended not to know me, and the tourists took photos of the crazy girl crying at the lumps of rock.

I work as a PA, which I adore - I can't organise myself for toffee, but have apparently found my niche in organising others. Plus, I am a PA within HR, which means Jeremy Kyle, if he were to do my job for a day, would have enough material for his show for a month.

I have terrible taste in music (ranging from Meat Loaf through My Chemical Romance and Take That, finishing at John Barrowman).

In my first attempt at writing a profile, back when I first joined IC last year, I used the phrase 'terrifyingly new'. Well, still relatively new, but no longer terrified. I've got the most patient Dom I could hope for, who is introducing me to this brave new world in a fashion I would describe as 'brutally gentle'. And I am loving every second.
