Enjoying reading, posting, catching up with old friends and making some new ones after far too long away from all this. Loving the technicolour world of people and pervery that is IC and always happy to chat to interesting people. More recently, keeping an eye out for a nice, nasty man, preferably not too far away, for awesome times...

A bit about me - I'm intelligent, perceptive, loyal, independent and in control in vanilla life. I appreciate friendship, honesty, integrity, wit, warmth, mental stimulation and occasional luxury. As likely to be found at home with my nose in a book as out having cocktails with friends, I love life's usual pleasures - good company, food, wine, the arts, countryside, travel, and just about anything thought provoking or beautiful.

Myers-Briggs personality type INTJ - the Mastermind sub! My background is psychology, and it is the mental side of D/s that I find the most intriguing. Fascinated by altered states, especially those you can't explore alone! Dislikes include puffed up egos, pushy types, people wasting my time and political correctness for its own sake.

As for you, whoever you are... I would love to meet a man who is honourable, secure, relaxed, sensual, articulate and with open mind and heart. Probably well-educated and able to make good use of his brain, although wise enough to not rely on it for everything. Oh, and single, definitely single!

I'm most attracted to men who are creative in their control and cruelty - this isn't off the shelf stuff! Not looking, therefore, for someone with a formulaic approach, keen on protocol or micromanagement. That's not bratty (I've never seen the point in that!), I just need it to be about synergy - you and me; that'll be different to anything else out there and, hopefully, extraordinary.

If you can deal with my two favourite questions,"Why?" and "Why not?", with good humour and considered answers, that would be a great start. I love to understand people and ideas and function best in relationships with those who get that.

If you can also understand that good manners and laughter mix well with filth and that D/s can be more deeply, darkly, deliciously and deviantly romantic than any chocolates on the planet, so much the better!

No list of activities to the right, just the bottom line. I have few, if any, fetishes for particular scenes, tools or dress, and prefer the real stuff to roleplay (I couldn't act my way out of a paper bag, really!). Most of the standard fare is lovely, and there is plenty that I'd like to explore - overall, perhaps more D/s in orientation than S&M, but what I love most about D/s is that, working right, anything becomes possible, doesn't it? Besides, I thought my checklist looked a bit tarty for openers - you get to know all that later, ok?!
