What lead us out into the "IC" world was I had lurked about on another board, but it didn't seem on form, and here seemed active, only bites if asked, well mainly.

We actively ventured into the world of kink after meeting "Cosmic" at Skin 2 while watching some rope work. This in turn lead us into another Rope workshop, which we ventured too with trepidation and absolutely loved & learnt so much from it that you just can't read in the books. We had been playing with rope for over a year, but there are some things that just click with a " that's how you do it" when watching the professionals in real life. So off we trundled to a mix of EBay and Homebase to colour coordinate and find varying widths.

Following on from the Rope workshop, we discovered the Sweet Torments club, a genuinely friendly club with lovely equipment, and a completely comfortable atmosphere. This was a real breakthrough for us, as we'd been looking for a while into clubs, but had been apprehensive as some seem to have an almost expected swinging element to it, which isn't what we were aiming for in the BDSM world. We have so much to learn with each other. It has added an amazing edge to our play, being able to play together in public, and also meeting so many people who are willing to genuinely talk and chat, which tends to lead to us leaving the club with all sorts of weird and wonderful shopping lists.....
