Professional BDSM - Mistresses, Masters, Switches and Subs

This is a group for people who offer BDSM activities as commercial sessions, for those who use our services, and for those who don't judge us.

This group was created by a group of Dominants ( @Lady_Anna_Bradford , @Ms_Tytania , @Mistress_Susannah , @Mistress_Sapphire, @LadyPandoraCP and @MistressKeene ) with the intention of stopping the "Pro-Mistresses Etc" Board from continuing to be the baiting arena it has sadly become.

The Professional BDSM group exists to provide educational articles and a forum for civilised discussion on the subject. We welcome membership from pro Dom/mes, subs, switches - those working in the industry, those who visit, and anyone else with a genuine interest and something to add to our discussions. There has always been a lot of trolling and baiting of pro Dommes in particular, but this has recently reached a level and heights of nastiness we are simply not prepared to accept, as it has made meaningful discussion nigh on impossible.

We welcome people to join this group if they have a genuine interest in things professional, or even just a mild fascination! We encourage lively debate, differences of opinion, but will not tolerate rudeness. Professional BDSMers on IC have, over the years, answered every single possible question regarding their job in an articulate, open, helpful, enlightening way - not once, but time and time again, patiently and with, as oft been remarked, good humour. Most answers to most possible questions are to be found on the "Pro-Mistresses Etc" Board for those who care to do a search. Unfortunately, this openness and accessibility has resulted in an opportunity for bigots and other assorted trolls to stone PDs for their decision to earn a living doing something that they are good at, and enjoy.

In the interest of education, the Dominants behind @professional_BDSM are in the process of writing articles on the most commonly asked questions and encouraging them to be debated within the group. Hopefully, they will answer the majority of your questions about professional BDSM, but if there is something missing then please join the group and start a topic, or memo us and we'll start one for you.

Some people may not want to openly identify as having an interest in professional BDSM, and we'd therefore also welcome sensible and polite questions by memo, which we can then post in the group ourselves to preserve your anonymity.

We are also aware that the "Pro-Mistresses Etc" Board creates a disproportionate amount of hassle for Admin, as Off Topic once did. We hope that by taking responsibility to moderate this group ourselves, we shall spare them the bother.

We @professional_BDSM have a policy of not replying to any threads on the "Pro-Mistresses Etc" Board, unless to link to an article or discussion in the group. We simply request that our members support us on this and attempt to follow our lead.

We reaffirm that the group is not about inhibiting discussions or censorship, just discussing topics close to our heart without the discussion being continually sidelined by those who have obvious issues with professional Domination.

The @professional_BDSM group is for discussion surrounding professional Domination topics only. Any topics or posts which are blatant advertising for sessions, clubs, websites etc.... will be deleted. Persistent offenders will be removed from the group.
