This is a work in motion and also a bit of thinking out loud.

My interest in D/s and BDSM began when as a teenager I read "Story of O". I put it down and tried to forget about it quite a few times... I struggled with the ending when she is abandoned.

But the years passed and about 8 years ago I finally decided to do something about my Ds interests and actively set about finding a sub. Since then I have had approx 7 years active experience in Ds relationships, and never looked back, but still a lot to learn, and looking forward to it.

What I'm interested in is a relationship with a submissive female with D/s and BDSM in it, for me... D/s and BDSM on their own are meaningless when they are not part of some sort of emotional commitment/relationship and the deeper that is, the better it gets. I don't think I could do just "play" as a lot of it for me is the eroticism of "owning" my sub and the level of power and sexual control that brings. That rush is what it is all about. "play" doesn't go deep enough for me.

The reality... As for "owning" my sub. A Dom only owns his sub for as long as she wants to be owned by him. Ultimately, I believe a Dom and sub are equal partners, but the Dom wants to dominate and the sub wants him to do this, thereby giving him the power to make it unequal when he chooses.

What sort of Dom am I?.. I can be a bit flippant at times and I like to have fun so don't expect a serious Dom with bags of self discipline and a steely self control.

When I do get serious and strict, that's when I like the D/s BDSM to be REAL as D/s BDSM that turns into farce is a pet hate of mine.

Everything I do is done within a safe, sane and "consensual" context. I take my Domming and the care of my sub very seriously.

I like to be very open and honest in a relationship so would expect the same of my sub.

So... My Vanilla Interests.

The sort of coupley stuff I like doing are days out wandering around NT, English Heritage type places, gardens, going for walks etc. Lately I am getting more & more into Ballet and Opera (I like the passion and the escapism). I spend more time than I should watching TV and like cuddling up on sofa in front of tv. I also spend more time than I should fiddling about on my computer. I do like reading a good book as well. although my definition of a good book may vary from yours I am a Tradesperson in my work life but also in my non-work life enjoy tinkering about with stuff. I'm a person that is rarely bored as I dip in and out of a lot of things although seemingly achieving nothing..I do like going to the odd fetish club and event as well although I'm not into the "scene".

My Interests on the right are not my list of fantasies. They are mostly stuff I've actively done to a greater or lesser extent in a D/s relationship. Don't get bogged down in shopping lists thou, this profile is only to give you an idea of what sort of person I am. It's not a Doms Requirement List!

Practically the only Hard Limit I have is that my sub must have a good heart, an open mind and be generally a nice person and we must like each other as people.
