| I'm in my 60's and have only entered the BDSM/fetish wonderland in the last year. Its been quite an adventure and has certainly given this old gent a new lease of life !(but, oh to be 30 years younger......).
I've really enjoyed meeting some fascinating and lovely people. I go to munches from time to time, and to the wonderful Brum Bazaar ; I visit Ceasars and enjoy meeting people to chat to and maybe even to play with.
Basically I'm another old subbie - but I was struck recently by a comment on an IC board about avoiding defining oneself as "top" or "bottom" and instead, being willing to treat any "play" situation as a flexible one in which one's role depends on who one is playing with. Seems good sense to me.
Interests ? I'm still finding out and will probably try anything.
Outside BDSM/fetish, I love my (grown-up) children, my friends, music (classical,jazz, African, Asian), travel, talk, reading. Politically I'm to the left - sandwiched somewhere between Shirley Williams and Tony Benn (now there's a thought......).
By the way, omuiru (in at least two east African languages) means "slave".
And to add another bit to the picture (October 08) I have recently become involved in what is quite a wonderful relationship. Whether it will manifest itself in public (Ceasars, BBB etc) remains to be seen. I am quietly otimistic. |
