Your hosts (Journerotica and Crimson) have started this play munch because we wanted a friendly, local event in a private venue where we can socialise and have the opportunity to talk about whatever we like, dress as we please, and play if the mood takes us. And the good news is we've found a location!
TIME AND PRICE
The event will cost £5 per person plus a contribution to the buffet to enter. Doors will open at 2pm and it'll last until 9pm. Last entry will be at 6pm unless you have prearranged entry with the hosts. Depending on how popular it is, we'll be trying to run this at least every other month, on the first Sunday of the month.
THE VENUE
The Monster Munch will be based at The Lodge (http://gloucesterlifestyle.com/), a private venue in the centre of Gloucester. It's not overlooked, has private parking and really friendly owners! It's got a fully licensed bar (that also does hot and soft drinks), social/lounge rooms, and a variety of play rooms. It also has a jacuzzi, that's available to guests at an additional cost. This is a private event, rather than one of their own, this means there will be a guestbook to stop people walking in off the street - just mention what site you saw the event on. If you like the venue it can be privately booked for your own parties (or even business meetings).
THE LODGE 19 Brunswick Square Gloucester GL1 1UG
This is not a BDSM venue, and does not have a dungeon or a load of dungeon furniture. It does have a variety of rooms and pervertable furniture, and we will be seeing what we can add to it over time if the play munch is successful.
WRISTBANDS
Having been at events ourselves, we know it gets a bit confusing about who might be available to play, which puts people off approaching others. To try and combat this, we'll be putting a wristband system in operation for the event. We'll give some more details soon.
THE PLAY
The only real limits on play are that you must respect the other guests and the venue. This rules out scat, watersports and blood. Nudity and penetration are allowed... just keep them away from the buffet table! If you have any concerns or questions please talk to one of the hosts. You must also read the rules and guidelines sticky.
DEMONSTRATIONS / WORKSHOPS
We will be trying to organise demos, workshops and possibly discussion groups. These will be fun and informal, and you wont be obliged to attend. RULES AND GUIDELINES
This is a friendly play munch, not a fetish club. If you're expecting a fully stocked dungeon look elsewhere! There are rules and guidelines you must abide by, read them before you turn up and please respect them:
Adults only – the Monster Munch is a strictly adult only event, no one under 18 will be admitted. Proof of age may be requested.
No dress code – come in whatever you like, be that full on fetish gear, jeans and a t-shirt or nothing at all.
Respect – Please show respect to all other people at the party, including guests, staff and hosts.
Players have right of way – Stay out of the way of a scene, particularly whips. Don't sit in the play rooms to chat, use the social area.
Don't hog rooms or equipment – As the venue is limited please don't monopolise the best items of pervertable furniture or the lockable room.
No touching! – Don't assume you have the right to physically touch anyone, or anyone's equipment. There may be people in various states of undress, but that doesn't mean the normal rules of society don't apply. Touching people without permission will see you ejected from the venue and potentially banned from future events.
No messy play – This means no WAM, watersports, scat or blood. Wax play must use a drop sheet which you should provide.
No sharps – Needles, knives and staples are not permitted. Blunted knives may be permitted, please speak to the host on the door.
No cameras – The only exception will be if you are in a locked room, you must obtain permission from the host beforehand.
No excessive drinking – There is a fully stocked bar, so do not bring your own alcohol or drinks. Getting drunk is likely to get you ejected from the venue.
Obey host instructions – If one of the hosts asks you to do something, please comply immediately. Please report any concerns to the hosts promptly so we can deal with any issues.
Sanctions – The hosts reserve the right to apply sanctions to people who break the club rules which include, but are not confined to, words of advice, ejection without refund and lifetime ban.
YKIOK - The philosophy of Your Kink Is OK applies here. As long as it follows all the rules and is RACK (risk aware consensual kink) then anything goes, and please keep negative opinions about others to yourself.
IF YOU WANT TO COME...
There'll be a separate event thread and calendar entry for each munch, please indicate on this that you're coming so we have an idea of numbers. When you pay you'll need to give a name, which can be your username. Remember to bring £5 and your buffet contribution. The venue and hosts accept no responsibility for your possessions – it's up to you to look after them.
SUPPORT THE MUNCH
If you'd like to help/support the event the first thing to do is turn up! If you want to do more, whether that's bringing some equipment, collecting glasses (sissy maid's welcome!) or manning the door, please speak to the organisers.
