Quick summary:

Background:

I have felt a Dom for as long as I can remember. At 5, I used to dream that I would tie-up my school girlfriend and her mum in order to be able to look under their skirts . It's only during my PhD in the early 90s that I had access to the internet (before the www) with alt.sex.bondage, a Usenet newsgroup where all the New York and San Francisco pervs were talking about weird things like Burger Munches, Violet Wands, Polyamory and Safewords. Waw ! I learned so much at that time, both about BDSM and myself. I slowly started experimenting on and off but it's only since I met Laura that I finally decided to make BDSM a true and proper part of my lifestyle and being the Dom to my dream Sub... so I can tie her up and look under her skirt !

Interests:

I am currently interested in Tantra applied to BDSM. I'm reading a great book called "Urban Tantra" to guide me. More remotely, I am intrigued by the religious and spiritual aspects of BDSM as my sub is also a Witch (although she is very discrete and I delude myself in thinking that I know what she is up to) and we both have a religious upbringing that, on some occasions, have interesting repercussions on our games.

Finally, in the background, I am fascinated by BDSM relationships as you could say that we both are in a very exciting ongoing experiment...

Vanilla-ish interests are: Woodworking and DIY in general which allow me to make some interesting contraptions and toys. See my pictures for some samples. I also play Role Playing Games (D&D, MERP, Warhammer, Cyberpunk) but that's completely vanilla, geeky and non-sexual. I have a vague interest in photography but it's a necessary evil for the voyeur that I am. Finally, the usual: travelling and watching movies (ok, ok, porn movies too!).

"Beliefs":

My Sub and I are not 24/7. We live very happily together but we prefer to keep the D/s aspect to special moments instead of diluting the exaltation. I guess it is because our play is very intertwined with our sexuality (can you keep sexual tension at 100% intensity for 100% of the time ?).

For me (and for her), BDSM is the purest and most accomplished expression of love that we know. It is passionate and intense and, for us, love without BDSM feels like "half-love".

When we don't play, we are on an equal footing as far as everyday life decisions are concerned. In any case, in the bedroom or out, the five pillars of our relation are: Love, Respect, Generosity, Fun and Exploration. And I'm delighted to say that my Sub definitely provides all that and more.

Oh, and also: Every day is a school day ! (literally sometimes, when my cane or my tawse needs flesh). I know enough to realise that I know close to nothing and I'm very glad it is so. Otherwise it would be quite boring !
