I keep on getting Lionel Richie crooning in my ear 'Hello!' – ugh!

I've been away from the site for a while and during that time some pretty big life events have happened I'm a different person to who I was a year ago. I'm sat looking at this blank screen wondering just what do I put down here to give even a small snapshot of me as a person.

I'm…me…okay that's less than illuminating I know but I'm not sure how to go about describing me.

I have an obsessive compulsion when it comes to Galaxy chocolate especially minstrels. If left next to a packet I will eat them – doesn't matter if that packet isn't mine I will snaffle the chocolate. So be warned – if you want your chocolate don't leave it un-chaperoned near me. If you are foolish enough to leave me near a packet of minstrels and you ask me where they went - I will lie…a lot.

So what have we found out about me so far? I get cheesy songs stuck in my head…and feel the need to share them with the people around me (sorry about that btw). I dither and can be indecisive with the best of them. I'm an admitted thief and liar…and I suffer from an obsessive compulsive disorder.

Yeah see there are reasons why people like me take to the internet.

I'm a socially active recluse. I like people, I like being with people and finding out more about them. I am the person at the bus stop people feel the need to tell their life stories too…I'm weird enough as well that I enjoy being the person people feel their can talk too. But when I enter the doors of my home I like peace, quiet and stability.

I like to be able to kick off my shoes and relax in slouchy ill-fitting blah coloured clothes which could be used as a form of contraceptive. I'm at my most happiest with a book in my hand with music in the background or curled up under a duvet watching Star Trek, B5, Firefly or NCIS.

I don't (alright can't) pretend to be anyone other than myself so role-playing doesn't work that well because no matter what clothes grace my frame it's still me looking back at you with a definite 'please can I get back to my Nora Robert's novel now?' look in my eye. I do however like clothes from other time periods like the first half of the 20th Century so I would enjoy wearing those and the look in my eye would be more of a mischievous twinkle.

If you've got this far you'll get a reward – with news that I'm a submissive but I don't slot neatly into the submissive role. I like dominant men – their self-assurance, their strength both internal and external, their self-control. BUT for some reason I don't automatically roll over and flash my belly in response to them.

As a single person I'm self-determining, confident in myself and my abilities. In a relationship I don't magically change. So no matter how dominant a personality I will not be submitting unless I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that ME as a person is what is wanted and not a fantasy of some ideal me.

I am not a graceful elegant lady during the day who transformed into a smutty minded slut in the bedroom. I'm pretty much smutty-minded 100% of the time. I'm the love child of Rusty Lee & Leslie Phillips – can you imagine? I'm never a slut.

I take my relationships seriously whether romantic, friendship or familial. I wish…I yearn to be graceful & elegant but I'm not – I tend to look soft and comfortable. More Ugly Betty less Seven of Nine
