C.Vs not accepted. Only looking At present I am only here to quietly read and lurk mostly. I am not looking for a relationship at the moment.

After a long break I find myself back on here indulging myself by reading about subjects I find interesting and admiring others writing ability.

I have been very lucky to meet very few lovely people from this site one of whom I maintain a completely platonic but very close friendship with and I count myself very privileged to be able to call him thus.Whilst always open to making friends from IC and online it is rare that I do so mainly I suppose because I am not on the "scene" I do not seem to find many people with whom I have much in common. Out of literally hundreds of emails ( my profile picture was slightly different back in the day ) I can count on one hand the amount of people I have met from this site so dont be offended if I dont write back I just don't like wasting mine or anybody else's time really. Equally at present I do not wish to meet anyone. It would be nice to talk to more people though so its something I try and remain open to.

I still view myself as being on the periphery of IC but find that I will always return because IC is a kind of home for me , which is strange as I have never really made lots of friends or been part of any groups on here persay.I follow some blogs because I find the people interesting and their writing has generally struck a cord with me somewhere. I always admire the ability to express yourself well within a post or webblog , as its something I often struggle with. Even now I find myself reading back what I have written and knowing it has not quite expressed what I wanted to say properly ! It's coming off a bit boring dont you think ?!.

I go through stages of posting like a fiend and lucking and reading. There are some amazing writers and fascinating characters who post the boards. The other side of that is there are many who I find myself infuriated with and certain subjects and postings will set off my soap box moments so if you are reading this after one such post , I can confirm that I am not always that angry or righteously indignant ! Intellectual peacocking as I call it , is my least fav thing and is demonstrated by some of the more negative and critical of those who walk the halls round round these parts. For those who wish to know I identify and am most comfortable being submissive. I have pretty old fashioned ? point of view .. boring old monogamy within LTR's is what floats my boat. I like to think that I can embrace different peoples happiness though as finding what works for you and makes you happy is what life is all about and that looks unique to us all.
