How do you pen who you are?
How can a piece of writing, just tiny 0's and 1's sent via noise and flashes of light to another computer where it materialises as words possibly tell about the person hiding behind the keyboard? In the virtual world we can be anyone we want to be, that is why I choose to live in reality.
My reality is currently turbulent, but it's happy enough for me at the moment, I work hard, earn a pittance and have some amazing friends, most of whom I don't get to see often enough, but who know, understand and love me, which I am lead to believe isn't always an easy job. As my life is so busy at the moment, I am primarily just looking to add to my list of friends, I am out and about on the scene, and can often be seen playing at various places, but I have my fill of play partners so I'd be surprised if I found someone else I'd be willing to play with. (I have highlighted the bits that people seem all too willing to skip so that they are easier to spot, it's not to mislead anyone, I don't want to play with anyone, male/female/sub/dom I just want friends)
Although I have several people I may play with there is only one person who holds my heart and my submission, he is my bad man, my guardian angel, my soulmate, my lover, my best friend and the best daddy a girl could ever ask for.
We had lost each other for a while but fate appears to have bound us together and we are enjoying taking our time exploring each other all over again. I may not always be at his side, but I am always in his heart!
I am very verbally articulate, and textually illiterate (well almost but I am working on it) I quite often don't put my point across in text as well as I would do in a spoken discussion. I am also very opinionated and while I am often happy to discuss things if the subject is one i feel very strongly about, wild rabid dogs couldn't get me to change my mind.
I'm artistic, and with that comes the artists temperament, add to that an Irish heritage and I can be a firecracker when the blue touch paper is lit! My artistry is practical but connected with the theatre, I live, eat, sleep and breathe it, I don't get to go very often due to time constraints with work. For me theatre (with my guilty secret exception of musical theatre) should be through provoking, hard hitting, edgy and experimental, I adore the work of these guys
I'm a self confessed bibliophile and have even been known to read the back of a shampoo bottle if there is nothing closer to hand to read (for some reason my favourite 'secret' reading place is in a bathroom, sat against the radiator, it's warm and I feel safe there, I'm sure there is a reason but I'm darned if I know, so all those times I dissapear off to the toilet for hours on end, now you know why)
I love music, all manner of, I just wish that I was the one introducing my friends and family to the unusual and cool as opposed to the other way round, but I'll be happy enough knowing I have people around who can set me on the straight and narrow with regards to music.
Oh, and when I'm uncomfortable, nervous or don't know you, I am likely to get either verbal diarrhoea (in which case please just over look it and realise it goes away eventually) or retreat into my shell and hide in a corner (likewise I start to open up but it can take time)
and if you hadn't already noticed I'm a big fan of parentheses, I make no apology for this, and use them in as often in my writing as I do when I speak... Forewarned is forearmed and all that!
