I know I still struggle. And I make mistakes and need guidance. My eye-opening experience involved some pain play and since then I have learnt that I enjoy being controlled and will go further and do more if I am in a D/s relationship. Whilst I do not believe I am needy, I am looking for someone who will be committed to spending time with me and who I can trust to help me grow. I'm not looking for D/s outside of a relationship - my aim is to find someone who is both my Master and my partner so I want to find someone who is compatible with me socially as well as physically. I know I need someone who can both dominate me and care for me deeply. For me, this isn't *just* about sex.

I am well educated and independent. My vanilla interests include opera, cinema, literature and theatre and I am seriously into keeping fit. I have a music degree but haven't ever worked as a musician. I do run my own business and have done so successfully now for over ten years. I like good food and wine - eating out and cooking and can be somewhat hedonistic given half a chance!

I'm not interested in couples, married men or people looking just for play. My preference is someone around my age (circa 5 years plus or minus) - I know age is just a number - but around my own number works for me. For a relationship, I'd like to meet someone who is also reasonably fit and who perhaps shares some of my interests. For friendship, just someone with things in common and a good sense of humour

Since I have been on IC I have met and submitted formally to two Doms each for periods of a few months. so now I have a little experience Both have released me through circumstance rather than through failure on either part. So, if you genuinely want a D/s relationship and are single, perhaps we might get on.

I'm also unsure of my own pain thresholds again. I'll explain that one if we ever do talk. It's a curious physical phenomenon...and one I need to explore
