Hello, how are you? Sorry, i am late but i was just tuning. It's really nice of you to have a look at my profile and i hope that first of all you like what you are about to read and that possibly, the title of my advertisment was what attracted you in the first place. Furthermore, it is my wish that the rest of what i am about to write is such that you will make an effort to get in contact. But before i get into all that, an introduction seems to be in order.

As you might have guessed, and prehaps that's what has brought you here, i am from Holland otherwise known as the Low countries or the Netherlands. Presently i am still residing here 'cause i really like it and otherwise due to work and study commitments. Later on i will let you in, in all the finer details of why on earth someone from that country is going through the effort of putting and ad on website primarily oriented on Great Britain....or is that not a proper name for it? Anyway, read happily on and perhaps we will be in touch somewhere...sometime....

Before i started re-writing this profile i took a little time to think how, what and.....why? After some carefull thought i decided to, instead of going at it in a rather step-by-step-way from a physical description to the deeper truth about my presence here, i plan to do it more loosly. Adding bits and pieces as i see fit and that i feel are truely giving a good idea about who i am. Enjoy the reading.

something about myself;

A good looking man, almost 47 yoa, just under six feet tall, of atletic build, of a good social background, educated and non-conformist, spiritual, relaxed, experienced and confident of his dominance and the place D/s will have in his life, working and studying, enjoying life and art culture, books, photography much more. History is one of main passions in life.

something about D/s in a relationship; There's a lot i can write about that, possibly enough to fill a rather hefty volume. But while doing a bit of re-thinking i came up with the following, that is a very compact extract of what i believe to be relevant.

There are a couple of things that person or persons interested in getting in touch with me should know. First of all i have since my early youth and from when i first visited, a great interest in all aspects of english culture. Even as i have indentified a couple of reasons that others can relate to, and i can say something intelligent about, for the greater part it is still as mystifying as that first around. A strange feeling that i somehow belong more overthere...euh England and the various other parts then overhere...holland! Some years ago i seriously considered stepping over that bit of moist between the two countries and putting up my yurth somewhere in Albion. and before you start sending memo's asking me why...it was out love for a woman.

The other thing is that i am a total history afficinado...very bookish and a bit of a "geek" although people that know me very well would object to such a characterisation. For as long as i can remember i have been thoroughly interested with all things history. Going from ancient cultures around the mediteranaen and especially Egypt through the renaisseance period to the french and indian wars and of course ww2 and Vietnam. At any time i am at least reading two to four books on a diverse range of historical subjects. Naturally you can find me in a (historical)museum quite a number of times....time permitted of course. A 'recent' one is the history and culture of Byzantium. But history of english culture is always on the top of my list.

Perhaps this bit should be at the top..... but then again this is about being in it for the long run..so to speak and hopefully so. Seriously now..... i am looking for a LTR with a like minded individual of the female persuasion. Soon i will add some that narrows it down a bit more but don't let that keep you from sending a nice memo... Take care, be well.
