Book-obsessed shockaholic with an interest in various disgraceful things, seeking... Well, I don't want to pigeon-hole. But if I had to do, it's a paradoxical female earthling who is simultaneously strong and submissive. A lover of high culture and low-down depravity. Someone who relishes - in select company - demeaning everything she stands for. There's a quote by Bataille I love:

Which is about as nimble a summing up of the darker places of eroticism that I can imagine. And I promise I won't be heaving in any more chunks of French theory for the remainder of this profile.

Me: a writer, embedded in North London, hooked on novels, films, art, poncey food and cocktails. Name-dropping things you like is just about the most contrived thing you can do on a place like this, but as there's always the chance something I like will be something you like, I'll reel 'em off anyway. But in brackets, so you can skip to the next paragraph to get to the good bits. And some music which if I went into really would make this insufferable, so I'll stop.)

Now, from vanilla to... whatever the requisite ice cream flavour metaphor is for perversity. I'm not a conventional Dom-type dom - not into paddles and props. The words "kneel bitch" have never, to my knowledge, escaped my lips. It's overwhelmingly about psychological play for me. Subverting the woman's personality. Think humiliation, degradation and pushing the boundaries of thinkable fantasies. I'm single and hoping for an ongoing shadow romance with the right mental masochist. A see-how-it-goes thing.
