While I have been here for quite a few years I have spent more time absent than active. I am here mainly to chat with friends and read the boards. I am always happy to make new friends but not really looking for a Dom or a play partner at the moment.

If you are still reading this then only fair I say a little about myself.

It is hard for me to separate out my vanilla and D/s sides as the two are very separate in some things but very much entwined in others. As a sub I would be considered high maintenance as I want and need a high level of attention but I give a lot back in return. I am also definitely not a slim person (working on that) and I have my insecurities around this but I also find I have little tolerance for those who would judge even just a friend on their outward appearance. I am also not one for suffering fools gladly and have a rather strong personality even though I am sub. A doormat I am not and my submission is reserved for the one I submit to not just any person who feels it is their given right or feels subs shouldn't have a voice.

What I do like are interesting, intelligent or witty people. I have an open mind that wants to learn and be stretched in all aspects and while some things may not be for me I do like having at least a basic understanding so enjoy chatting with people I can learn something from. The things I am interested in are varied but some of my favourites are photography, cooking (Masterchef standard I will never be!), genealogy and travel which I would love to do more of as I enjoy learning about new places.

I use to be a semi regular London munch goer many many many moons ago and am slowly trying to get back out to the odd munch as usually find I have a great time but can be a little on the timid side initially. Once people know me I am far from timid and have a slightly sarcastic sense of humour.......gags her friends to stop them mentioning just how sarcastic it can get at times

Very recently attended my first club event and while I had a great time and enjoyed it very much I dont see public play as the thing for me but very much enjoy the socialising side and watching the play which I found was educational and some was beautiful in the interaction between those involved in the play.
