It is illegal for anyone in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to possess so-called extreme images. Even if the activity itself is legal.
As prosecutions occur, backlash will seek to ensure this law does not catch those at whom Parliament said it was not aimed, such as Gays, Goths and members of the consensual BDSM community.
Keep checking here or at www.backlash-uk.org.uk for details.
You can chat to others opposed to the law at www.seenoevil.org.uk

Thanks to Heather at LFF.
In particular, backlash is keen to talk to lawyers, police officers, computer forensics expert and others who would be willing to help advise on the likely interpretation of the law and how best people can defend themselves.
