After 2 years or so on IC I'm still struggling to write one of those witty and interesting profiles that make you think "I'd love to meet that person in real life" but this is my latest attempt.

First and foremost - 'nilla me because well, frankly that's most of me. I moved 'up north' for work a couple of years ago (really north, check the location!) and love the scenery and the accessibility of the 'great outdoors' but I don't love the fact that I am so far from everywhere else. Still I enjoy hillwalking, I'm learning to climb and I keep meaning to get more into kyaking, my dive kit is finally coming out of storage too. Then when it's too cold and wet outdoors I get cold and wet indoors instead playing Octopush. This all makes me sound rather sporty, probably a tad misleading since I do these things with great enthusiasm but little skill or fitness! I also enjoy going out or staying in with friends. I'm up for most things from dinner and drinks to a club or the ballet. I am also doing up my flat and have become pretty handy at DIY. Oh and since I moved up here for my job, I do work pretty hard too. In fact the one thing I really don't do, is do nothing.

So on to the bit you've been waiting for - the kinky stuff

Well... the best way to define me is probably 'a rather toppy switch' - there's a long list of interests on my profile, some of which I enjoy more than others and many of which depend on the mood and the person. I see myself mainly as an S&M kind of switch, probably more Top than bottom, although I enjoy both. I also Domme to an extent but I really don't sub, it just doesn't work! If someone tries telling me what to do I'll probably laugh or swear at them, if they want to fight me for control however, I might not be that upset if they occasionally win

I enjoy the physical side of things more than the mental. Humilation doesn't do anything for me except make me want to look away. Inflicting and recieving pain - that I understand. I also like the look of bondage and am more interested in creating than recieving that - one day I will find time to learn some ties, until then it's cuffs, chains and padlocks.

I tend to dabble in the scene depending on how I'm feeling and who I'm with but I ventured out in the summer to my first club in ages and it has definitely reminded me of what I am missing. I'm on on here to browse the boards and see what's happening out and about.
