In a very long-term relationship with a very lovely lady. It's basically vanilla, but with a great deal of understanding and freedom - which is why it's lasted so long. Was life ever simple?

As for myself, I am indeed an artist/ craftsman as per my nick- in metals - but I have in my rather long time been journalist (for newspapers, radio, TV), advertising copywriter, archaeologist, TEFL teacher and (briefly), long-distance lorry driver.

I'm very interested in languages. Speak fairly fluent French, Welsh, a little Czech, Italian, eclectic bits of other languages...and have been doing Japanese evening classes for 4 years now.

Dancing is one other major element in my life...to gypsy music, reggae, dub and especially techno in its various forms...I love nice funky complex multi-level stuff, with a bit for every moveable part of my body and a lot left over for my mind to play with
