I discovered IC in January 09 after a long hiatus. To date, it has been a joyful unfolding, a rediscovery of self, a healing. I have reconnected with that wellspring of love and loving without which I perish. If you want the Bitch from Hell, please look elsewhere, as there are many fine representatives of that style about. I am, rather, the Earth Mother from Hell…a benevolent, if sometimes harsh, very harsh, dictator. Suffer for me, yes, beautifully, deeply, fully. I AM a Sadist. But do also laugh for me, bring joy to my life experience…and I will nurture your own joy.

I deeply appreciate a submissive's needs. In appreciating these needs, I do not exist to fulfil them. In friendship, I offer honesty, forthright conversation, dare I say honour and integrity. Lest I sound like I think I'm a paragon of virtue, I am well aware of my faults, flaws and imperfections. I'll just not save you the trouble of discovering them for yourself.

I desire to be around people who are competent, emotionally healthy, and capable of affection. I don't worry about the 'service' part, the submissive part…that will be a given. Otherwise, why would you seek me out? Hmmm?

I expect basic courtesies. I would rather you say you couldn't face a first contact because of nerves, or any other reason, than to just weasel out. I detest weasels of the bipedal variety. I can understand newbie nerves… I have no patience or respect for dithering. You will show me your enthusiasm in a gentlemanly manner…and if you do not know how to be a gentleman…pass me by.

I look for friendship first and foremost. I do not expect a few flirtatious words and expression of interest, fun, attraction, et al, to be taken as a contract, either from you or from me. I like to flirt. It's fun, playful and joyous. I am an affectionate, effusive, and often effervescent personality. I do not like to intrude on anyone's space, until such time as it is appropriate, so there will be no grab-ass. I am also quiet, thoughtful, and given to deep mental, spiritual and emotional intimacy. If you have intimacy problems (and I'm not talking about sex), move along, nothing for you here.

In my home scene in America, I had a good reputation for safe and responsible There are even a very few folks in England who seem to respect the quality of my play. I worked hard to garner a good reputation, which allowed me to travel all over the US for play and parties, as well as international guests to visit me. This is not bragging. I just wish to convey that I am not a dilettante. I was even invited to give a lecture/demo at a MENSA convention BDSM Special Interest Group in Boston. (I suppose that IS a little 'brag', but I find it hilarious as well.)

I have no problem chatting with anyone who is friendly and courteous (which is not to be read as obsequious). Funny, witty and amusing is even better. If I may borrow from an old friend's phrase, “I am not a fetish delivery system”. I am a three dimensional human being, with feelings and wider interests than your wants of the moment.

I adore meeting people of all interests and persuasions, M or m, F or f, D or s, S or m. Life is only richer for the friends in it. I look forward to getting to know some of you even better.
