A good friend of mine told me more than once that "your profile really doesn't do you justice, you know". Having taken the advice to heart, I thought it was time I overhauled the old one. It contained a good enough line I thought about "can hold a conversation as well as a pint glass", though truth to tell, that is equally likely to be a wine glass these days, or even, heaven help us, a half of coke, seeing as alcohol can too often dull one's enjoyment of sharper, more gratifying sensations. Other things held include the usual array of implements which stimulate the release of those vital endorphins without which we might as well all stay at home and watch daytime tv. I enjoy producing and watching the effects of these happy chemicals in others as much as I like to feel their life-enhancing qualities running through my own body.
I have had the good fortune to have met some outstanding playmates and friends during my years on the scene - the last two or three have been particularly rewarding, as I have become a "twoo switch", happy to be on either end of a flogger. I was delighted to be asked to top a lovely femsub in her first public play at a club, a very happy moment which led to many more. Yes, I have many interests and passions outside the scene, but kink will always remain a major part of my life. I love it for the ability it has to earth negativity and turn it into its opposite. Catharsis, they call it. But more often than not it's a bloody good laugh. And a good social evening, as I fondly remember from attending the now (temporarily I hope) closed Nemesis.
Although I am not actively seeking an LTR, I'm not closed to the idea either, perhaps with someone who has similar switchy tendencies. I am open and honest in my dealings with people, don't take myself too seriously and like to put a deal of fun into things. And I can hold a conversation as well as a wooden paddle.
