The counselling and psychotherapy community are not in general well-informed about BDSM - for example there are very few books and articles on the subject. There is very little published or talked about in the counselling and psychotherapy world about BDSM. I would also be interested, in a spirit of research, to hear from people who have had experience - good or bad - of counselling or psychotherapy related to BDSM issues.
