Scribbles' Profile The Ninth
You can put anything you like in a profile - did you know that? In the course of researching this gem of the profile-writer's art which you see before you (cadence there clearly courtesy of augusta) I have perused those of everyone on my network.
Oh dear. The standard seems to be intimidatingly high. One has "a sound sense of my value as a human being and a woman". Another likes to spend his time "skinny-dipping by moonlight". A third has, as far as I can see, invented a word in "humdrumalia" (he had his very own googlewhack, the bastard - bet he won't now though ).
What else? Well clearly the most quotable dame is Anais Nin. And you're nobody without a good wadge of Youtube links. Harrumph. The Nitty-Gritty
Married (to
Minstrel), poly, switch, bi.
So, am I available or not? More not, really: I'm greedily enjoying two new friends, and although it's not exactly the shag-and-spank-fest of many a daydream, it is keeping me busy. So far I've not gone in for casual play. That might change, but if it does it will be with someone I've already got to know well, not whoever next happens to grace me with a boilerplate one-liner.
About orientation - I'm mainly sub, mostly because I find very few sub men attractive. I like quite a few switches, and a switchy relationship appeals to me perhaps most of all. I'm mainly straight, because I fancy very few women and have no experience with them sexually, but that also could change.

I am one of those would-be writers. No, I haven't written anything yet unless you think I could make a novel from 41 IC profiles (and a lot more weblogs). We have a fairly large garden which bullies me for half the year and sulks at me for the rest, and a dog who is wonderful all the time.
Books I live with very very many books. One day, dear reader, even these very words will appear in some annotated tome of my Collected Works. Yeah right. In the meantime, I occasionally look at the spines of the following for inspiration: Kate Atkinson, Neil Gaiman, Jane Gardam, William Trevor, Penelope Fitzgerald. And others I'm too snobbish to mention for fear you'll have heard of them (people like Woolf, Dickens and Fielding).
Music I'm married to a keen musician, and before that I was pretty into music in various ways - singing it, playing it, making rude remarks about other people's taste. Right now I'm into Ronnie James Dio, Diana Krall and, as ever, Deep Purple.
