Hmmm. About me. Depends what you want to know really. I have a tendency to massively over-think these profile things... Actually, come to think of it, I do kinda over-think most things...

Had a bit of a break from IC for varied reasons but have wandered back again!

I am an unabashed bondage slut, masochist and submissive.

Bondage has held a great fascination and attraction for as long as I can remember. I love, love, love it. Seriously. I enjoy all sorts of restraint – rope is probably my favourite but I also like straitjackets, handcuffs, leather, tape, cling film, pallet wrap and any number of other things I'm also a huge fan of gags, blindfolds and hoods. But it's not just about the different types of hardware. I like take-down and rough bondage; predicament bondage; long-term/over-night bondage; difficult challenging bondage where it's a struggle to just cope from minute to minute; suspension; chilled-out bondage; bondage just for the sheer hell of it!

I always considered myself to have a masochistic streak but I didn't fully realise the extent of it until I was fortunate enough to become acquainted with several very wonderful sadistic bastards. A major part of the pain experience for me is that the giver is enjoying giving it too - which is why I love sadists! There's something about how he looks at me when he's making me scream and squeal and moan. It's a look that makes me feel beautiful and wanted no matter how dishevelled, drool-sodden, bruised, and generally messed up I may be.

I am generally quite fussy about who I play with, as is my prerogative, but when it's with the right person and there is that “connection” it's really the most glorious thing.

I am submissive but my experience of significant on-going D/s dynamics has been relatively limited. This has been the result of a number of factors, not least of which being that until relatively recently I was sexually-monagamous with my mostly-vanilla husband. Last year this primary relationship ended amicably.

For several years I have been honoured to be a regular rope partner of the very wonderful @Jahc99. There have been ups and downs but I have so many wonderful memories of our times together and there are lots of photos here showing some of the things we have gotten up to.

Very recently I have somehow been lucky enough to meet and form a nascent relationship with @caged_enigma. It's early days but he is making me extremely happy so far

I do like meeting new people but I can be a bit inept in a social setting. I think I may come across as a bit stand-offish but it's not intentional. I am naturally quite introverted and although I usually do ok with one-to-one conversations I tend to be very quiet in groups. It doesn't mean that I'm not enjoying hearing what everyone else has to say! Also, just because I'm quiet anyway it doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good gag…

The bizarre thing is, despite the above noted reticence/shyness, I have no real problems or inhibitions regarding nudity and public playtime. It simply feels natural to be naked and tied up and that's that. No self-consciousness, all is right with my world.

• I paint - usually abstracts using acrylics on canvas.
• Possess a fairly dark sense of humour but also appreciate general silliness.

• Not great with alcohol – I often get to the puking part before I've had any enjoyment out of the intoxication.
