Hi, I'm new to the scene - new new, barely out of the wrapper... Mostly I just joined ic to chat to people. As a writer I get curious and like to ask searching and intrusive questions that are rarely tolerated by people face to face whom I've just met, but for some reason people on forums are happy to answer. Even if they're not, at least I don't end up being slapped (pity) or charged with breach of the peace! In other news I enjoy writing, photography, cooking and baking (and then eating the results - oops), knitting (it's how I got involved in IC - enquire within for more details), walking and art.

In a more 'ic' sense I guess I'm still finding out what I like, but so far I seem to be a bit of a rope bunny (update: make that a lot of a rope bunny. Makes me go all squishy and pathetic) and flogging is *fun* Turns out electrickery is nice too. See? Learning all the time.
