Dancing in the dark

I don't want to define myself; it is an impossible task. I am evolving, who I am and where I need to be will change more often than I can update this page.

I have a husband and a lifestyle/life partner. The two men in my life are my Husband , and the Wonderful Eric They are not hidden from each other in fact we all work together to make our relationships work.

I am the 'poly' of our three. To the world outside my poly does not shout, it isn't a badge of honor; in fact it's the least supported thing that I have ever done within this lifestyle, it is also one of the most rewarding and I am more comfortable than I have ever been with my feelings around love, commitment and relationships. Still I don't mind being dissapproved of, it simply is what works and is worked at in my life. Horses for courses as they say and I'm happy in my choices and beliefs.

I am also the girl in the York munch management team and can be found regularly at lots of events up and down the country.*I'm sadly missing C-Munch, come back soon!*

This is me!

I am strong, determined, driven, ambitious and independent at the core. I have a small circle of friends but I am fiercely loyal to those who get close to me. Deep down I'm quite sensitive, and can be quiet and thoughtful at times. I like to find a place, with people, in a group, in life.

I love people, I find connection between people the most amazing thing, whether it is respect, interest, attraction. The pull to each other that makes one person stand out has always intrigued me. I never had a wish list for a partner because that core pull, that connection, is not something you can put in a checklist.

A bit of Kink

I love rope, the act of being tied, in the sensory experience of bondage, rope is my companion of choice, along with a rigger who can see it as an art even when it's messy. I like canes and impact, needles and knives, pegs and clamps. I like hoods and blindfolds, predicament and play thats complicated. The list is pretty endless, and growing.

When I play I am at my strongest, and my most vunerable. I am dismantled to my most basic being and open to my core. I believe that just for that moment in play both parties give of themselves.

I am learning how to live my relationship within this lifestlye, for the first time. To connect absolutely and completely, surrender to it and give of myself freely, with knowledge and understanding. I've grown up a lot in the last few years, and thanks to absolute acceptance, I realy understand my submission, my masochism, any my role in creating play.

It is so difficult to define my play, at the core its power play expressed through s&m.

I play to the person that I am playing with, their personality,and their different moods shape the beginning of the interaction, the play created is led by them, and so their energy is my guide, what is created is a mixture of that start and my reactions building layer by layer. That in no way makes me passive, I believe that in play ,and s&m, both sides give equally and as opposites. It is an exchange that can be stunning even when it is simple.

I love this lifestyle, this is my fairytale. I will be forever grateful for the introduction that I was given into this world. It's been a rollercoaster ride, full of crazy contradictions but then I'm a submissive, masochistic, control freak..... I guess I fit right in!!
