The vanilla

I'm Adam. I'm a London-based geek, working in the software industry by day and spending most of my free time on LARP.

I'm intelligent, successful, kind, shy, very left-wing, privileged and aware of it, agnostic but curious, with a tendency towards self-deprecation and a love of being someone else in a silly costume for several weekends each year.

The slightly less than vanilla

I'm also Alex, or at least that's my stage name, and one I often use for things online that I'd prefer my mother not to stumble across.

I'm an amateur burlesque performer, in a duo with @psammead. We tend towards the dark vaudevillian and have a fondness for toying with our audience's expectations.

I've also done a small amount of modeling for Filament Magazine, and would love to do more.

The decidedly non-vanilla

I've known I'm kinky for as long as I've been at all interested in sex. I enjoy both sides of the flogger, although I've a slight leaning towards the bottom rather than the top. I love all kinds of restraint, and have a particular fondness for rope bondage, to the point of organizing a mini-peer rope event at my main LARP system.

I've also discovered I have quite a sadistic streak, and thanks to a fairly high pain tolerance, I can normally (and gladly) take as good as I give.

I've also, over the past few months, started exploring D/s. Again, I love both sides, although I still lack confidence as a dom. This is a side of myself and my kink that I'm very interested in exploring.

All told, I've very little experience, merely a long-standing interest and massive enthusiasm to explore.
