This group is for discussion of O&P (Ownership & Possession) - a new structure built from familiar D/s and M/s concepts.
Central to O&P is the concept of Possession: having control and use for one's own purposes of that which is possessed, involving some or all of the rights associated with property ownership. This is asymmetric and unequal in status. While the submissive is in the dominant's possession they are fundamentally there for the dominant, obeying the dominant, and subject to the dominant's decisions.
O&P isn't D/s as a game, or a roleplay scene, or an equal relationship involving SM scenes. At the same time, this power is tempered by concepts like responsibility and authenticity.
O&P is defined by the O&P Manifesto. This profile is owned by @Tanos but anyone is welcome to start threads in the group as long as they relate to O&P ideas: questions, comments, introductions, collaring announcements etc. Please try to use the working definitions in the O&P Wiki when posting.
There's an introductions thread for new people to say hello, which you're welcome to use.
You don't need to be on O_and_P's network to post, but if you broadly agree with the O&P Manifesto you're welcome to join its online network. This also means you can display the group icon on your posts, profile etc.
