I find writing this extremely hard. I'm no salesman or woman and as for trying to sell or advertise myself... Well it's simply just not me.

Anyway, here goes.....

The mundane bits to start with. I'm divorced and living alone, both my kids having left home now. I'm overweight but have been dieting more or less successfully for the last month or two, though I still have a long way to go, but then things that are worthwhile take some time and effort. I think I have a fairly young outlook on life (for my age anyway) and would like to find someone who still has some sense of adventure and wants more from life than a pair of slippers warming before the fire.

What else am I looking for? I'm not always certain. Certainly not a string of one night stand (OK Maybe I am getting old after all. They lost any appeal that they ever had, a long time ago). Probably not a 24/7 relationship either, just something meaningful with someone that I can consider a friend as well as a sexual partner, someone who will help me explore this strange world that I stand on the edge of at a pace that will suit us both. Not wanting a 24/7 relationship doesn't imply, however, that I'm interested in all the married or otherwise attached males out there who want to have a little bit of the best of both worlds. I'm not.

It's recently been pointed out to me that I've put nothing here about my BDSM experience. Let's just say that it's limited but that I'm hoping to be able to find someone with whom I can explore more deeply; someone that will push me gently while still allowing me my doubts and apprehensions.

In my time here something that I have learnt is that I'm not interested in being told via memos or instant messages to kneel or to strip by someone I've never even set eyes on. If you're interested in that or obessessed with my vital statistics then we just aren't going to get along. Best not to waste your time and hopefully I can find someone with a little more subtlety.

Music All sorts of different things. Classical, lots of the old 70's groups- Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Iron Maiden etc but thanks to the influence of my son, some much more modern stuff too. Muse, Rammstein, Godsmack.
